INTERNS FROM KENTUCKY

Ryan (a biology/health & nutrition major) does community health evangelism. She teaches the women about health from a biblical prospective. Joshua (a business major) is reaching the youth through Sports Evangelism. Amanda or Mandy as she is affectionately called (an experienced teacher of children with special needs) teaches English classes to the village women. Ryan will be with us for 1 year. Joshua and Mandy will be with us for three months. The three interns are assisting with the discipleship of the believers.

FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: RYAN VITTITOW, JOSHUA BORDAS AND AMANDA ROBERTS

Joshua Bordas is shown above right teaching the youth of Sanga Village how to play basketball. They meet every Saturday and the Gospel of Jesus is shared with these young men as well. Some have ventured to attend church with Joshua. Please pray for these young men that they will choose Christ.

Below is a picture of Mandy Roberts teaching Benton, 6th Grade Science. Mandy is such a blessing to our family. In addition to teaching Benton, she helps Elyse with Mathematics.

Ryan Vittitow and Moses Iddi (Alabaster Staff Member) above right are illustrating to waiting dental patients how to take care of their teeth. Every Monday and Wednesday the patients are taught proper dental health.

Our friends from the various villages have all expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the care and love that Ryan, Joshua & Mandy have shown them. This is the start of a great plan of outreach that certainly has impacted our goal towards fulfilling the great commission

Below left Joshua is helping to off load corn from the Ying Farm. This year our harvest was not as much as the previous year, but it does appear to be a better grade of corn.

The women of Sanga Village along with Mandy and Ryan above right threshed the corn and prepared it for storage.

**We are praying for an individual with an administrative background to come for 3 months to 1 year to help in the office. This individual would also help with discipleship.**

BENTON & ELYSE
We need a teacher to come and teach Benton, Elyse and Pumaya. Benton will be starting Grade 7 and Elyse will start Grade 4 at the end of November. Benton’s email address is: benton@alabasterproject.org. Elyse’s email address is: elyse@alabasterproject.org.

MOUNT PARAN TEAM RAISES FUNDS
FOR AIR CONDITIONERS

For the last three weeks, it has been 108 F degrees during the day and 92 F degrees at night. How thankful we are to have air conditioners. Last April, the team from Mount Paran experienced temperatures above 115 F degrees. We really appreciate their thoughtfulness and generosity.
