EYE CLINIC

The construction of the eye clinic is still underway. It has been roofed and currently being wired.

Recently, a man from the village of Kasalgu (village adjacent to Bethany Village) came to have his eyes examined. After reading the eye chart (which is John 3:16 written in Dagbani), he exclaimed, “I like these words, what book did you write these words from? Where can I get a copy of this book?” He accepted the Lord the very same day. Please pray for him that he will remain in the faith.

FARM

This year we have planted corn and we are praying for God’s favor. Each year we have had good crops in spite of the draughts. Pray for God to continue to increase our yield.

HOUSE OF JOSEPH

Each year we store food to be given out during the dry season when food is in short supply. The following picture was taken in Nyerizee. Priscilla is presenting corn and peanuts to the widows and handicapped.

INTERNS FROM TEAM EXPANSION

We thank God for Martin Brooks of Team Expansion.

After talking with us, Martin saw the need for additional workers. Currently, we have interns helping us with construction, discipleship classes, administrative work and sports evangelism.

PROCLAIMER

During our last trip to the U.S., we became acquainted with an organization (Faith Comes by Hearing) which provides proclaimers as a means of helping with discipleship. The proclaimer is an electrical, solar, and battery powered player which allows illiterate people to hear the Bible being read in their own language.

DISCIPLESHIP

Above is a picture of the interns in the Village of Blisinga.

The first church service in Blisinga held on our own land, (site for the church building). By the grace of God they will begin the construction of a church building. Majority of the village elders who attended accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
