IMPACT SPORTS

Impact Sports is one of the new innovative ministries we believe that God is using to reach many people who would never consider entering a church building. Above is a picture of Jerry, Brad, Mike, Scott, Heather, Kelly and Wendy.

This team of athletes whose main desire is to see the lost come to Jesus did more than teach basketball and volleyball during their visit to Tamale. They were very active in the villages doing hut-to-hut evangelism. Although the people enjoyed the basketball games, the greatest impact was definitely the souls who were restored to God.

This is a picture of Scott Duke with his hands stretched up to the most High God, as though calling down fire from heaven. In reality he has thrown a ball up and was reaching out to catch it.

Below is a picture of Moses interpreting for Scott Duke while he takes a group of excited youngmen through the basics of the game of basketball. One can clearly see that most of these young men are bare footed because they have no tennis shoes, however that does not affect their joy and excitement.

HOUSE OF JOSEPH

God has blessed the ministry of providing food for the widows and the orphans. We had a good harvest of peanuts in addition to corn and rice. In the month of May (the lean season) we will be taking these produce to various villages and distribute them to the poor. The BUV (basic utility vehicle seen in this picture at the top of the next column, was donated by Mission Resource International. We are very grateful for their help.

BABY WUNPINI

“Baby Wunpini” is doing very well. He is truly a gift from God. Joshua Wunpini is the third child of Pastor Zak and Hannah, who are a missionary family working with Alabaster Project and lives at Bethany Village with us.
