DENTAL CLINICS

The dental clinic continues to be a mighty tool God is using to draw unbelievers in to His kingdom. Due to overwhelming response to our dental services, 3 additional lay dentists, 3 dental assistants and 4 hygienists have been trained and added to our staff. These workers received professional training under the teaching and supervision of Dr. Charles Vittitow and his team members (Lisa Benton, Cindy Linda Webster) all from Kentucky.

Many are choosing Christ every Monday and Wednesday morning during the dental clinics. Above is a picture of patients who have heard and understood the gospel of Jesus Christ. Please pray for these converts that they will continue in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING

Village evangelism and discipleship is a top priority for Alabaster Project Ministries. Dr. T.V. Thomas, a well known Canadian teacher/discipler, recently came to Tamale, Ghana with his friend Eldon Thompson to help disciple lay leaders.

The morning sessions were held at Bethany Village Chapel and the afternoon sessions were held in the various villages. They are planning to come back in August, 2006. God has blessed us by adding three more villages desiring to know more about the teachings of Christ to our discipleship groups. Most of the people are more aware of what we have to offer them, they now come to us and request that we come to their villages on a weekly basis. Please pray for more spirit filled workers to join us who are willing to devote their time doing discipleship. Next August we will host a conference for the local village pastors. Pray that God’s Spirit will possess the hearts of these pastors and cause them to go beyond complacency. Pray that the desire to reach entire villages will burn deeply in their hearts.

ADULT CONTINUING EDUCATION AT SANGA VILLAGE
The women of Sanga Village are continuing with their English (literacy) classes. At the moment, we need someone to come and assist us with these classes. The men who begun their night classes last year are really doing well. They have begun to converse with us in English.

COMMUNITY BUILDING

Recently, I had the opportunity to speak to another youth group in the township of Nyankpala. This group of young people is really trying to improve their area. Alabaster Project Ministries has joined the leaders of this group in assisting them in community health projects.

YING FARM

The fish farm has taken off as you can see from the picture of Tilapia fish shown above. We are planning to invite many of the leaders of the villages to come and take part in the first harvesting.

BENTON & ELYSE

Please pray for Benton and Elyse as they continue to grow in stature and wisdom.
