BRYAN’S COTTAGE

Below is a picture of the dedication of Bryan’s Cottage. From left to right are Ramona Pendle, Priscilla and King, and Bill Pendle. Bill and Ramona are the parents of Bryan Pendle. Dr. Robert Stewart did the honors of dedicating Bryan’s Cottage. As Ramona said, “It was a bitter sweet occasion”, since the cottage was a memorial of their son Bryan who had an untimely death by auto accident.

DISCIPLESHIP

Below is a picture of Pastor Zack Amidu facilitating a discipleship class in the village of Blisinga. These are all new believers who have requested the discipleship classes so that they may learn more about Jesus and tell others in their village about His saving grace.

FAMILY CHURCH OF GAINESVILLE, FL.

Below left to right: Pastor Zack, Pastor Max Wilkins, pastor of The Family Church in Gainesville, Fl, and King are shown baptizing one of the new converts at Blisinga Village. Standing in line are Alhassan’s two wives who became believers after Alhassan shared his faith with them.

BETHANY VOCATIONAL SCHOOL

Construction continues for the Bethany Vocational School. We are praying for additional funds to be able to finish the vocational school. The school has been completed up to the lintel level. This picture shows the workers building the stairwell to the second floor of the vocational school.

SWIMMING HOLE

A picture of the kids from the villages of Nyrizee and Kasalgu enjoying a swim on a very hot afternoon. Anybody want to join them? This is only possible during the rainy season.

ALABASTER SCOCCER TEAMS

This is one of our soccer teams. Alabaster Project has soccer teams for youths in several villages. Above is a picture of the team in the village of Tarikpaa getting ready to play against one of our other teams from Moglaa. The final scores were 0-0.

MIRACLE HARVEST!

By all accounts this was a year of drought. Most people lost all their crops because the rains came late and were over early. How-ever, as you can see by the pile of corn that the Lord worked a miracle on our behalf. In fact, we harvested 560 pounds of corn as against 480 pounds for last year. The weather was excellent last year but in the year of drought we harvested even more. The Lord revealed to King as we were praying a passage of scripture in Genesis 26:1-12. We praised the Lord for His goodness and rested in His assurance of a great harvest. Our “House of Joseph” food supply is sufficient for the coming year. The women from Sanga Village are shown processing the corn for storage. They were very excited to have the extra income.

GHANA EVANGELICAL MISSIONS ASSOCIATION MEETING

Alabaster Project Ministries hosted at Bethany Village the very first conference of the Ghana Evangelical Missions Association in the Northern Region of Ghana. The purpose of this conference was to encourage the churches in the Southern part of Ghana to become active in evangelizing and discipling the people of the Northern Region who are at present over 90% unbelievers.

FRIENDS FROM LOUISVILLE

We were excited to have Jim Headlee and his daughter, Whitney visit with us. What an encouragement they are to us. Jim spoke at the Ghana Evangelical Missions Association Conference. He shared some very valuable principles of good leadership.

PAM’S COTTAGE

Below is a picture of Pam’s Cottage recently constructed in memory of Pam Pendle, daughter of Bill & Ramona Pendle. Ironically, Pam was also killed in an auto accident. Pam’s Cottage was dedicated by Pastor Max Wilkins.
